Why did you start the Coding Traineeship?

I wasn’t completely fulfilled in my last job and I was looking for a career that challenged me in a logical and creative way. Software Development offered it all. I did some research and decided that the IT Career Switch coding course was the path to go.

What did you enjoy most?

The final projects were definitely the most interesting part for me. It was quite a challenge to put all the learning into practice but my tutor was there to support me and I’ve really started to feel like a developer during this phase of the traineeship. I gained valuable knowledge that helped me secure a position in the future.

What's your current role like?

I’m a Junior Developer at The Access Group and I’m living the dream. I have the routine of an Agile developer and have been working alongside a lot of other devs who help me thrive and improve. Working as a developer is exactly what I expected and I love it, IT Career Switch played a huge role in this achievement and for that I’m grateful.
