Why did you start the Coding Traineeship?

In my previous role as a digital marketer I was always speaking to developers and involved on website projects. When I started to learn a bit more about websites and started to do a few online courses on coding I realised that I loved it! As a very logical person and someone that loves puzzles and challenges I thought that software development could be the career that best suits my personality. I knew that getting into it was going to be difficult and that’s the reason I joined the traineeship, so they could help me and support me.

What did you enjoy most?

The projects were the part that I enjoyed the most. When you are actually coding and building your own applications time flies! Also, as you are learning the different programming languages, you are building small projects to apply that knowledge, instead of just watching tutorials or reading.

What's your current role like?

I’ve been in the role for three weeks now and it’s been great. When you work on software development every day is a challenge and the team is always there to help out with whatever I need!
