Why did you start the traineeship?

I started the traineeship because I am very interested in cybersecurity and the constant change and evolution of the industry. The traineeship seemed like the best route into this.

What did you enjoy most?

Being able to study at my own pace was a great help and I particularly enjoyed the self-setup lab in Network+ and the LiveLabs, as getting to learn through practice was essential and the best preparation for actual work.

What's your current role like?

My current role is highly varied; demanding I perform 1st Line Support, follow instructions precisely to setup systems, troubleshoot and experiment to develop new resources, create and maintain IT Management tools and keep accurate documentation of my work and results both as an individual and team worker. I currently work primarily with Windows Server, Windows 10 Pro and Hyper-V while also using a lot of background networking knowledge.
