Why did you start the traineeship?
I did the traineeship so that I may have a tried and tested path to start out my career in the IT industry.
What did you enjoy most?
Getting the opportunity to study the various courses from different vendors such as Cisco, Microsoft and CompTIA and the exposure they offered to prepare me for the real world was very valuable.
What's your current role like?
I’m currently working as an IT Technical Engineer, with day to day tasks ranging from 1st line all the way through 3rd line. I’m really enjoying the dynamic nature of the job. Every day is a different story. Which is exactly what I was looking for when starting out in IT.
