Why did you start the traineeship?

After 10 years of working in customer service and exhausting my soft skill potential, I knew my prospect of career progression had become fairly limited. I needed change and the excitement of learning new hard skills. IT was the obvious choice for me, as I know there is always more to learn and to look forward to.

What did you enjoy most?

Most courses are very interesting and well presented. The structure of this traineeship is brilliant, each new step is a coherent follow-up on the previous one up to the official exam. I admit that I particularly enjoyed all the help provided in making my CV and preparing for job interviews.

What's your current role like?

I work as a Data Centre Services Engineer. It is a challenging position where I learn every day and get hands-on experience with hardware and networking. It can be quite physically demanding at times and I am thrilled to be able to explore this aspect of IT, all that within a great team of very supportive people.
