Why did you start the traineeship?

I was ready for a career change and wanted to pursue a personal passion for IT at the same time. The Traineeship really appealed to me because of the huge syllabus of training included, and it was so reassuring to have support from their experts throughout the entire process.

What did you enjoy most?

I gained such a firm foundation of knowledge from the Traineeship in a short space of time. It really sets you up for success in a new technician role – alongside all the theory I learned, it also gave me valuable practical know-how that I’ve quickly been able to apply in my new role.

What's your current role like?

My job is pretty busy, often challenging, but super rewarding! I get such a thrill from being able to resolve issues for my clients, and I get to work with great people and learn useful new skills each day. I’m so glad I took the leap with IT Career Switch, and I’m excited to see where my new career takes me!
