Adriana Dreghici moved into 1st Line Support Engineer

First of all, I have always been fascinated by computers, software, and the way technology shapes our world, but most probably, I was too afraid to start a career in this industry because I did not have enough confidence. Another reason would be that IT is a rapidly growing field with high demand and has strong future prospects. I chose this traineeship because it combined learning with practical experience, I wanted to gain real-world experience to complement my academic knowledge, and lastly, it has been a way to transition into a more dynamic and tech-driven career path.

I enjoyed the chance to work on real-life projects, which can be really fulfilling, solving technical problems, building systems, and seeing how the things I learned came to life in a practical setting.

My current role is 1st Line Support Engineer at Silver Lining Convergence. I really like this job because I apply what I have learned in the Traineeship, which is really satisfying. My key responsibilities are answering calls/emails, logging issues, resolving common problems, offering step-by-step guidance, system monitoring, user account management, customer service, documentation and knowledge base. I am sure that there are more, but this is the beauty of this industry, you never get bored and continue to develop all the time your skills.
