Why did you start the traineeship?
I started this traineeship as I had a strong interest in IT. I felt that my strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate difficult concepts in a simple way for others to understand would aid me in excelling in IT Support roles.
What did you enjoy most?
I found the process of troubleshooting hardware and configuring software to be very interesting and motivated me to want to up skill and gain the latest industry knowledge. Also, implementing best practices to safeguard against potential online cyber threats is something I enjoyed from this traineeship.
What's your current role like?
My current role requires providing technical assistance to end-users, and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. My responsibilities include troubleshooting and diagnosing problems, installing and configuring systems, managing user accounts, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure.
