Abigail Edwards moved into Health And Safety Advisor

After having my little boy I found myself re-evaluating the next steps in my career, I knew that I wanted a full-time career instead of part-time and that I was passionate about Health and Safety, however, I was unsure of how I could reach my goals without having the qualifications. This is when I found the Traineeship in Health and Safety and realised it was a perfect opportunity.

I loved how easily I could fit it into my busy schedule, it was flexible to suit my and my family’s needs and there was always someone at the end of the phone to help when I was unsure about my next steps as I progressed through the Traineeship.

My current role as a Health and Safety Advisor is very varied and interesting, which is exactly what I was looking for. I am involved in everything from handing out PPE to helping decide safety features on a multi-million-pound project starting in the future. I am really enjoying expanding on the knowledge gained from doing this Traineeship.
