Why did you start the Traineeship?
I started the traineeship as a means to transition into a career in web development. I had previously been employed in other sectors and I didn’t feel that my current path was leading me towards something I wanted to pursue. After lots of research, and discussions with those I knew already in the industry, web development ended up ticking all the boxes for me.
What did you enjoy most about the Traineeship?
The course curriculum was well structured, easy to follow and I was always aware of my progress towards the end goal. However, the key factor for me was the support I received both during the completion of my final projects from my tutors as well as from my recruitment specialist during the application phase.
What's your current role like?
I work in my current role as a Junior Software Engineer at a startup in London. Predominantly I work with frontend code in React with Typescript.
