Success stories

IT was always my passion and when I finally decided to pursue it I needed help in determining which way to go, what courses to take and of course which certs to gain. I now work as a cybersecurity analyst, and my role is very diverse, from monitoring the systems to project work.
I chose to begin the Traineeship because the management career I was in was already at its end. I wanted to pursue a career with a lifetime of challenges and progression. I love my new position now I can focus fully on Cyber Security. I currently work with vulnerability management and advising on security matters with other teams, although that will develop in time. Even though I’ve been on this journey for two years, I feel like it has only just started.
So I reach the glass ceiling in the physical security industry and it no longer aligned with my career goals. IT career switch gave me the opportunity I needed when I had no real clue about how to start. I landed my first IT role as a Cyber security analyst, working in a great environment where they help me grow as a cyber professional building upon the foundations of IT career switch gave me.
I started the traineeship after working as a teacher in Primary schools for 10 years. I had always been interested in IT and this traineeship seemed the ideal way to get into working in the industry. I now work on a Service Support Desk for an Aerospace and Defence company.
