Traineeship overview

The training program is split into 4 easy steps:

Step 2
Practical Live Lab

Your next step will be to make use of our Live Lab which can also be conveniently accessed online. This will give you the opportunity to test your skills in a practical environment – a crucial requirement when stepping into your first role.

By using our hosted platforms, you will be able to work on real-world hardware from your home, allowing you to test your own configurations and the impacts that they have, or to follow the Lab guidelines that are aimed at a specific piece of technology as will be required during your CompTIA exams.

Step 3
CompTIA A+ Exams

The last step in this process is gaining your CompTIA A+ certifications. Here, you will be supplied with in-depth mock tests that will ensure that you are ready to take the official CompTIA exams, which we will book for you once you are ready. The exam can be taken at one of the many Pearson Vue test centres across the UK or remotely from the comfort of your own home.

The CompTIA A+ certification is an essential certification for establishing your IT career and demonstrating the core skills required to work in an entry-level IT position.

Step 4
Cyber Bundle + Job Placement

Once you have completed the initial three steps, we will then place you into your first role as either an IT Technician/IT Support specialist, with a starting salary of anywhere between £21K-35K.

While working within this position, we will release Step 4 of your training which is specifically designed to qualify you to move into the cyber security sector. You will have two years access to complete Step 4, which consists of your cyber courses, Live lab and official CySA+ exam like in Step 1-3.

Once you have gained the two years experience within the IT industry, as well as completing step 4 of your training, we can then place you into a role as a cyber security analyst.

Step 1
Courses + Internal exam

You will begin your journey by studying fully accredited courses from reputable industry leaders – Microsoft, CompTIA, and Cisco. You will be given access to your own study portal which includes video tutorials, presentations, and quizzes, specifically designed to ready you for the practical application of the theory that you will learn.

Once you have worked your way through the course material, you will take a short online exam consisting of multiple-choice questions in order to ensure that you have a firm grasp of the course material.
