Success stories
I am now working as a project manager in the manufacturing industry. I am currently working on a few international projects as well as leading my first project already which is something amazing to do.
I started my traineeship in March 2022 as I wanted a career change and to become a Project Manager. I work as a Project Coordinator in a PMO office at an IT consultancy. After coming from a hospitality background, I’m working sociable hours for the first time in my career!
As a civil engineer, I wanted to diversify my knowledge and learn new skills that would empower me to manage projects in the engineering space. My current role is quite nice and offers more perks than I expected for an entry-level role in project management. The company (Cadent Gas) is great and I cannot wait to gain more knowledge from my experienced colleagues.
I started the Traineeship as I was feeling more and more dissatisfied with my previous job as a teacher. I secured a junior project management position with an EV charging company, It’s an exciting role, not only because it’s my first project management role but because it is in an evolving industry. There are plenty of opportunities to apply the knowledge gained from the traineeship.
I started the traineeship because I wanted to get into working in an IT environment with other like-minded people and thought Project Management would be a good fit for my current skill set. My current role is a Project Management Office role and I am loving it so far. It is not just restricted to that though I am being exposed to aspects of normal project management and business analysis so I am learning a great deal.
