Why did you start the Traineeship?
I was working as Barista just to learn English and do some experience in London. Then after the pandemic started I wanted to start a secure career and what it could be. After doing some research, I realised how I loved technology and it could be turned into my future job. So I found an IT Career Switch that gave me this opportunity to start a new career from zero.
What did you enjoy most about the Traineeship?
Video lessons are very long but very interesting. I’ve never got bored of them. Pdf’s helped me a lot to remember what I’ve watched. Live labs also gave me the opportunity to do some tasks in the real world.
What's your current role like?
I work as IT Field Engineer and 1st line service desk. Once or twice a week I am on the client site to troubleshoot shoot problem that needs to be physically there. The rest of the days I am at home as 1st line service desk to troubleshoot on our ticket system and also on the phone.
