Why did you start the Traineeship?
I have my bachelors in CS and almost 3 years of experience back home (Afghanistan). Resettling to the UK I wanted to stick to my field. I wanted to do a short course just so I can refresh my knowledge and attain a certificate in CompTIA. In order to develop my career in the field of IT I was looking for a great opportunity towards a bright future hence I chose IT Career Switch.
What did you enjoy most about the Traineeship?
The traineeship was one of the best courses so far. All the systems were perfect, the lecturers were amazing, and the live labs were an entire picture of everything I studied during the course. I gained so much knowledge during the period of my studies that I am even more confident about the things I was not before, and it was a great experience in my educational career. The best thing in the training was the live labs and the practice tests, which made it a lot easier for me to pass both CompTIA A+ Tests.
What's your current role like?
Now I work with an IT Support Company as 1st line IT support Engineer. I am confidently able to troubleshoot hardware and software devices.
