Why did you start the Traineeship?
Having spent over 5 years in the oil & gas and Aviation industries, I decided on a career in IT specifically in programming. I was aiming to enhance my programming skills in the tech industry and thankfully I did a little search on the internet and found IT Career Switch. IT Career Switch provided me with invaluable opportunities and access to learn more than 8 programming languages. With support from the company, I built 2 world-class projects and was well-coached to sit for my Microsoft programming Examination, where I ended up achieving a 88% score.
What did you enjoy most about the Traineeship?
During my coding studies as a Full-Stack developer trainee, I was attached to 2 different tutors and they are all always there to help at any time. There are many aspects of the training I enjoyed, but the thing I appreciated the most was the tutor’s assistance with learning new things.
What's your current role like?
I am currently working as a mobile app and web developer with Xreflow.co.uk. I used the latest technologies in making mobile applications and web development. The frontend programming languages that I am currently using are JavaScript, Capacitor, Ionic, Vue.js3, API, Jason-server, Ajax, etc.
