Why did you start the Traineeship?
I started my traineeship with IT Career Switch as I wanted a career change. It is a career I believe I will enjoy as well as having a work-life balance.
What did you enjoy most about the Traineeship?
I loved that I could study at my own pace, the study materials were very easy to access and suited my busy Lifestyle.
What's your current role like?
I work as 1st line IT service desk – I work in a co-operative environment. Being the first point of call for any IT request or issues. My day-to-day duties are troubleshooting various IT issues, using active directories, Microsoft and Windows supporting tools, etc. I also use ticketing systems while following the ITIL-recommended process of escalation.
