Why did you start the Traineeship?
I have always had a passion for IT and customer service. I was furloughed due to the pandemic and decided that I would use it as an opportunity to follow my passion, instead of seeing it as a roadblock in my career. ItCareerSwitch seemed like my best-suited option, which I now don’t regret taking the opportunity.
What did you enjoy most about the Traineeship?
I enjoyed the fact you could do it in your own time. Also, the interactive live labs were very enjoyable and helpful. I believe the best thing was the mock exams, as they helped me pass my exams with good passing scores
What's your current role like?
I am currently working as an EOC Customer Service Technician at Park Place Technologies, which are a global data centre and networking optimization firm, that streamline infrastructure monitoring and management, create cost efficiencies, reduce chaos, and speed mean-time-to-resolution. In my role, I provide customers of IT Services a central point of contact for logging, tracking, and reporting of hardware, network and application related problems.
