Why did you start the Traineeship?
I was made redundant in September 2020 as a result of the pandemic. I had been employed for 14+ years as a Catering Manager. As a result, I decided to retrain by joining the IT Career Switch Health and Safety traineeship.
What did you enjoy most about the Traineeship?
I really enjoyed studying for my IOSH and NEBOSH qualifications. Sheilds was excellent as a training provider. I also really enjoyed working with IT Career Switch through the recruitment process, their support in this area was excellent.
What's your current role like?
My current role is amazing. I am encouraged to put my learnings from my traineeship into practice. I foresee excellent career prospects and continued personal development in Health and Safety.
