Why did you start the Traineeship?
Through the many years going in and out of different jobs, I have always been in search of a long term career. About a year ago I finally figured out what career path I wanted to go for. I started looking to apply for a role in my new decided path and found that companies were looking for experience and certifications.
I started looking for a way to secure certification, with also getting hands-on experience and came across ‘IT Career Switch’ which offered all that and the guarantee of a job placement afterwards! After not much thought I decided to purchase my chosen course and be my learning process. The rest is history!

What did you enjoy most about the Traineeship?
Trying to pick a particular part is difficult but if I had to choose a single part, it would definitely be the recruitment process. Having weekly catch-ups and listening to progress was amazing! And finally securing my first interview was definitely an enjoyable moment! My recruitment specialist was fantastic! She really helped me keep faith in myself and finally secure the role I so desired!
What's your current role like?
My current role is everything I hoped for and more! I have entered a small team and been made to feel very welcome and a part of the team from the off! I have no standard day and I’m constantly learning more! It’s fantastic putting what I learnt into practice in the real world and the satisfaction of knowing answers to questions really makes the process worth it!
