Why did you start the Traineeship?
My true passion has always been in computers and new technologies. I was struggling to find a job in IT for quite some time, as most companies required a year or two of previous work experience. When I found out about the IT Career Switch traineeship I decided to give it a shot and signed up for the IT Technician course. And it was really worth it, as they helped me to find a new job in about 4 weeks after passing the exam.
What did you enjoy most about the Traineeship?
Definitely LiveLabs part of the course – where knowledge meets practice. Also, the video materials provided were thorough and well organized, allowing me to study at my own pace.
What's your current role like?
I’m working as a Helpdesk Analyst/1st Line Support at Zonal, who provides IT solutions for the hospitality industry across the UK. In my current role, I do a lot of ticket logging, remote troubleshooting, and customer interactions. I like the job a lot and I think it’s a good start in the IT sector.
