Why did you start the Traineeship?
I was not happy in my previous role doing Quality Control in the Financial crime department at PwC. For me, this role was not fulfilling enough and at times quite boring. Also, I felt that career would be very hard for me to grow further, so I wanted to change it to something related to IT, preferably to cyber security.
What did you enjoy most about the Traineeship?
Ease of access would be the main one. All of the training materials and examinations are available online, which makes it very convenient to use. Additionally, all of the materials are relevant and prepared me well for a variety of entry-level jobs in IT.
What's your current role like?
My current role is with Capita in the position of Service desk analyst. I am providing service desk support for organisations such as NHS and Energia Group. I am helping customers every day via phone or email with different issues such as access issues, account issues, software issues, corporate email issues and so on.
