Why did you start the Traineeship?
After deciding teaching was no longer the job I signed up for, I wanted to try a new challenge. IT was the next logical step for me, having a personal passion for computers.
What did you enjoy most about the Traineeship?
It was excellent being able to do it completely in my own time and at my own pace which allowed me to undertake the training while working part-time. The training was well-structured, allowing me to never feel out of my depth at any part of the journey.
What's your current role like?
I am now working as an IT Service Desk Analyst at Habinteg Housing Association, where I am putting the skills I learned into practice and continuing to learn along the way. The training I received as part of this course has put me in excellent stead and helped my career change from teaching to IT much easier.
