Why did you start the Traineeship?
I started the Traineeship because Iโve always had a passion for technology and knew I wanted to build a career in the field. I studied IT in school and spent a lot of time exploring tech on my own. Even with that background, breaking into the industry can be challenging without guidance. The Traineeship seemed like the perfect opportunity to strengthen my fundamentals, fill in any knowledge gaps, and gain official certifications that would validate my skills and help me stand out.
What did you enjoy most about the Traineeship?
What I enjoyed most was learning new topics that expanded my understanding โ especially the networking modules. Even with prior knowledge, there were many concepts that clicked for me during the course, giving me a clearer picture of how everything works together. I also appreciated how structured the Traineeship was; the goals were always clear, and I knew exactly what steps I needed to take to progress. That focus really helped keep me motivated.
What's your current role like?
In my current role, Iโm able to build on everything I learned by getting hands-on experience solving real-world problems, which I find really rewarding. I use a wide range of technologies, and having a strong foundation from the Traineeship makes a big difference. I also have the freedom to come up with my own solutions, which has helped me grow even more in confidence and capability.
