Why did you start the Traineeship?
I really wanted to start a new career in IT and I felt that doing a structured course with different subject materials would be incredibly beneficial for me. I was right, the course gave me a great foundation to go into my first role.
What did you enjoy most about the Traineeship?
Off all of the courses I found Network+ the most interesting. Learning about how data moves around and the amazing number of protocols and rules involved was fascinating. It was also great to be able to learn at my own pace studying at home.
What's your current role like?
My new role is a great starting point. I am now a first line service desk analyst. It is challenging, with lots of new processes to learn. It is also very different solving real world problems compared to theory learning. Overall it is a rewarding job and very satisfying when you solve something for a client.
