Why did you start the Traineeship?
I have chosen to establish myself in the IT industry because I am inspired by how quickly technology changes and develops. I started the Traineeship because the 100% job guarantee really gave me the confidence that I will get a job quickly.
What did you enjoy most about the Traineeship?
I like the fact that I was able to learn at my own pace. Being stuck at home with the kids for a long period of time meant that I would not have been able to attend any full-time face to face classes. Being able to learn from home was the thing I enjoyed the most. I am happy with all the info I have learned; this Traineeship has really boosted my confidence.
What's your current role like?
I currently work as an IT Support Engineer. It feels good to be able to help other people with their IT related issues. The work is balanced, I get a lot of people interaction and I am still able to learn new things every day. It feels like this is the right job for me.
