Study Process

Based on 12-15 hours of study a week.

Course 1

CompTIA A+ Core 1

  • The CompTIA A+ is the staple certification for an entry level IT role and is split into two parts. This first part focuses on computer maintenance support.

Weeks 1-2

FEA Application
  • The FEA (Future Earnings Application) is a finance agreement that will allow you to continue to study for free until you are hired

  • The 2nd part covers the installation and configuration of operating system, expanded security, operational procedures and software troubleshooting.

Comptia Network +

  • CompTIA Network+ validates the technical skills needed to securely establish, maintain and troubleshoot the essential networks that businesses rely on.

Weeks 5-7

Microsoft Windows 10

  • The main operating system used within the workforce is Windows 10. Its essential as an IT professional to have the knowledge required to troubleshoot an array of issues.

Weeks 8-10

Practical Work

Live Labs

  • The labs will give you the ability to test and hone your skills in a practical environment ensuring you hit the ground running in your first IT role.

Weeks 11-13

Mock Tests

CompTIA A+ mock tests

  • You will be provided access to hundreds of official mock tests to ensure your fully prepared to take the official exams.

Week 14

Exams

CompTIA A+ exams

Taken at either a test centre or conveniently online from home. Each exam is 90 minutes long with multiple choice questions, drag and drops and performance-based

Weeks 14-16

Job Placement

Once your pass your exams we enter the job placement phase. Here our recruitment team will work with you on a 1-to-1 basis to place you into your new IT role with a minimum salary of £21k.

You are not alone. You will be assigned a tutor that will be at your disposable over the phone or via email whenever you need help. You will also get weekly check in calls to help keep you on track and motivated throughout the process.

Recruitment period

On completion of your studies, you will be assigned your own personal recruitment consultant. Firstly your CV will be completely reformatted, updated, and tailored to the IT industry.

Your consultant will then actively seek opening positions with our wide network of partner companies and new companies hiring in your area. You will be provided with comprehensive interview prep and techniques ensuring you’re fully confident in the hiring process.

On average our students are hired within only 4 weeks.

Completion fees

Only once you have been placed into an IT position with a minimum salary of £21k will you need to pay any fees.

Our fees are simple. 12% of your salary for 36 months once you’re earning £21k or more.
