CompTIA A+ Core 1

  • The CompTIA A+ is the staple certification for an entry level IT role and is split into two parts. This first part focuses on computer maintenance support.

  • The main operating system used within the workforce is Windows 10. Its essential as an IT professional to have the knowledge required to troubleshoot an array of issues.

CompTIA A+ exams

Taken at either a test centre or conveniently online from home. Each exam is 90 minutes long with multiple choice questions, drag and drops and performance-based

IT Job Placement

Salary £23k – £30k

Once you pass your exams we enter the job placement phase. Here our recruitment team will work with you on a 1-to-1 basis to place you into your new IT role with a minimum salary of £23k.

Cyber Security Job Placement

Salary £30k – £40k

After you are placed you into your first role as either an IT Technician/IT Support specialist, with a starting salary between £23k-30k we will release the cyber security training to you.

The cyber security training is specifically designed to qualify you to move into the cyber security sector. You will have two years of access to complete a selection of cyber courses, Live lab, and an official CySA+ exam, as outlined below.

Once you have gained two years of experience within the IT industry, as well as completed the cyber training, we can then place you into a role as a cyber security analyst with a salary of 30k-40k.

Cyber Courses

Your second batch of courses are specifically designed to give you the knowledge, skills and certifications required to move into a Cyber Security Analyst role once you have the required two years experience in your IT Technician role. You will be completing the following courses;

– CompTIA Security+

–CompTIA Linux+

–CompTIA Pentest+

–CompTIA Cyber Security Analyst+ (CySA+)

–CCNA Security

CySA+ Livelab

While working in your IT Technician role you will be able to gain some valuable hands-on experience.

You will also have access to the official CompTIA Cyber Security Analyst+ Livelab which will provide you with the necessary platform to gain practical experience.

Topics will cover information security, configuring and using threat detection tools, data analysis, identifying vulnerabilities, identifying threats, and risks, and securing and protecting applications and systems within an organisation.

CySA+ Exam

The final step is the official CompTIA Cyber Security Analyst+ exam.

CySA+ is the only intermediate high-stakes cyber security analyst certification with performance-based questions covering security analytics, intrusion detection and response.

High-stakes exams are proctored at a Pearson VUE testing centre in a highly secure environment. CySA+ is the most up-to-date security analyst certification that covers advanced persistent threats in a post-2014 cyber security environment.
